PRIVACY POLICY
The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.
Exceptions include:

Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse we have to follow legal requirements to report this to the appropriate authorities.

If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person we must act in compliance with clinical safety guidelines and the laws of our state.

In the event a client is struggling with suicidal or self harm thoughts we will do a risk assessment to ensure the person is safe. If there is still a concern for safety we will take the necessary steps to assist the client in accordance with ethical guidelines and state law.

We maintain compliance with HIPPA regulations and provide Informed Consent for all of our clients. You will be given consent forms and a copy of HIPPA regulations when you come for your initial appointment.
